    March 15   Enhydra 3.1.1 is nearing completion: download Beta 1 or checkout the latest candidate from CVS (includes updates to Enhydra XMLC and DODS.)
    March 11   Kelp 2.0.2 is nearing completion: download Beta 1 or checkout the latest candidate from CVS.
    March 10   Enhydra Enterprise 4 daily builds are now available for developers working on Enhydra Enterprise. Many changes planned for the next few days, so be careful out there... ;-)

  • A new project has been created for cutting edge/new to Enhydra technologies and topics. First installment, Flash! Learn how easy it is to integrate Flash 5 with Enhydra.
  • A new mailing list has been created for Designers to discuss the non-Java side of XMLC development - HTML, WML, Flash, general design topics, and more. Subscribe today
  • Feb 21 2001   Project Release Update
    Point releases are in the works for Enhydra 3.1 and Kelp 2. Please help us work out any last minute wrinkles by trying out the following beta releases:
  • Enhydra 3.1.1 Beta 1 with bug fixes to XMLC and DODS (including support for existing databases!)
  • Kelp 2.0.2 Beta 1 with support for Enhydra 3.1.1, improved help, and improved code generation.

    Feb 12 2001   InstantDB v3.26 released! Cranking along at an incredible pace this new release includes support for transaction isolation levels, improved ScriptTool support, new database properties, new parameters, bug fixes, and full documentation. Go Peter...
    Feb 11 2001   New kXML released. kXML is a KVM implementation of the Common XML APIs. Anybody interested in wireless application development might be interested in this project. Rumor has it that kSOAP (currently hidden in kXML) will be split out soon as a separate project. Stay Tuned.
    Feb 6 2001   Zeus data binding project announced! Chaired by Brett McLaughlin this project aims to provide an efficient XML DTD/Schema data binding technology. It is available as a standalone download as well as being integrated into the Enhydra Enterprise platform. Code is already in beta!. Don't forget to ask Brett how he named this project ;-)
    Jan 21, 2001   XMLC v2.0 released. Version 2.0 is up to 5 times faster and can be used independently of Enhydra.
    Jan 15, 2001   Enhydra 3.1 is now available! Includes enhancements to XMLC, DODS, updated Xerces parser, and misc bug fixes.
    Jan 4, 2001   New project - Barracuda! A presentation framework designed to make it easier to build web applications using XMLC and Servlet 2.2.
