InstantDB: RE: Can't run the ScriptTool in Visual age version 3.5

Title: Can't run the ScriptTool in Visual age version 3.5
Robert

In theory, yes, but I've never tried anything even close to that kind of size, and I'd be very surprised if it worked. The Disk IO will probably make it impractical. Blob support is mostly used for things like .gif and .jpgs of a few 100K and that sort of thing. I'm not  sure,  can most JVMs even handle that much memory?

Thanks Pete, I understand now.

Sorry about this but the project I am working on may need to read/write large (upto 2 GB) of binary data back and forth, providing I have the memory can InstantDB handle blob transactions this large?

Cheers
Robert
