Peter,
I have set up the output swing table to show query result page by page. This way
the speed of the complete query should not be so critical if the query returns
the first page of date before the complete query is finished. With informix db
the first page with around 30 rows of the output is shown in say three seconds,
with 103 rows in the database. If the database is normalized and contains
different data 15 tables, in my opinion, should be rather typical than something
special. I will build an example program for you this evening. I have to go out
of office now but will send the example when i am back.
