Fine granularity locking is most useful in an RDBMS that is intended to
handle many concurrent users. InstantDB isn't intended to be used in
that kind of environment, it's intended to serve as a SQL-compliant
persistent storage component for an app server. There are many other
features that are needed before InstantDB can be used effectively as a
general purpose multi-user client/server RBDMS.
So I wouldn't hold your breath.
