Glad your enjoying InstantDB.
Explicit locks of the type you mention are currently not possible with InstantDB. What you
might be able to do though is to have one connection in SERIALIZABLE mode and use it for
access to tables that you wish to lock, and the remaining connections in READ_COMMITTED
mode for doing queries.
