Hello everybody, I just started working with BINARY columns. My question is: To what size should I limit such columns? I tried BINARY(1) and saved a really big text file. That worked fine. I also tried it without any restriction of size, same result. So what is the effect of limiting BINARY columns? The data itself ist stored in .blb files if I understand the documentation correctly. Is the size of these files restricted somehow? Thanx for your help!
