Hello,
We are evaluating InstantDB for an off-line solution developed in Java.
We are an English company at Brazil acting at the insurance market.
We use the IBM´s WebSphere Application Server 3.02 with the InstantDB
and sometimes when we stop the server with the kill command (AIX O.S.), the
InstantDB corrupts.
The managers here are afraid of having the same situation at the Windows
solution that we are developing. The questions is: how stable is InstantDB
with this situations: CTRL+ATL+DEL and turnoff the machine and so on ?? If
we need support, what we have to do ? How Lutris or Enhyndra can guarantee
the future of InstantDB or in other words, what will we do if we know
tomorrow that this software is discontinued ?
We are evaluating the MySQL and Cloudscape databases.
Hope you answer soon because we have to decide the next week.
Best Regards,
Otavio.
