Hi,
How about making a rowfunc with a static int that gets inc in the evaluate
method ?

You're quite right. If you aren't using Enhydra to generate sequences,
and you don't want to use IDB's AUTO INCREMENT, then I think you'll
have to do your own sequence generation in your application.
