Yes - that certainly is unfortunate. I don't think this should happen. This
could be a bug in InstantDB or in one of the JVMs being used to
create/access the database.
If the database is reasonably small - say it zips to less than 250K, how
about shipping it to me (not to the mailing list obviously). My email is
