It's probably that InstantDB's JDBC driver is not returning some of the
metadata expected by Forte. Try setting traceLevel=1030 in the .prp file.
This should a give a log of some of the JDBC calls being made. The log
output might give some idea of what Forte is expecting.
InstantDB already implements all of the non-optional JDBC 2 features.
