Hey Sonya,
Have you set your CLASSPATH ??
This is taken from the "readme.txt" file:
"
Add the Classes/idb.jar, Classes/idbf.jar and Classes/idbexmpl.jar files
to your CLASSPATH environment variable. Change to the Examples
sub-directory and enter the command:
java -ms16m -mx32m org.enhydra.instantdb.ScriptTool
or, if you are running JDK 1.2 or above:
java -Xms16m -Xmx32m org.enhydra.instantdb.ScriptTool"
This should work... Note, this is only the examples, you can use idb without
doing this and only
having idb.jar and idbf.jar (this is the rowfuncs) in your CLASSPATH.

Subject: InstantDB: Known exception?
Hello,
Tried getting Instant Db to finish installing. After typing --
java -ms16m -mx32m org.enhydra.instantdb.ScriptTool, I get this error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/enhydra/instantdb/ScriptTool. Is this known to you or am I doing
something wrong? I have tried the command for jdk and to run the sample
Database but get the same error each time. Has anyone brought this to your
attention?
Would like to get this to work and don't know if this is a program glitch or
something I did. I am trying to run it under Windows 98 operating system.
Have a 200 mhz system with 128 mb of memory.
thanks,
Sonya Gilbert
