Hey Peter,
You are right, I didn't use the ScriptTool.java as idb is embedded in our
program and I didn't see the changes. First of all,
I'm using version 3.14b3 as we have a deadline on freday (2/6) as our program is
running into fieldtest in Munich next week,
and I have not had the time to change (+ checking it) into 3.14b7 and fix to
the new package names. So I hope this doesn't matter as you wrote that
setQueryTimeout should work in 3.13.
Ok, the result was not a exception, I had(have) a query which summes over some
data given from a rowfunc, the result just gave '0', but setting the
QueryTimeout = 0 seems to fix it (I hope).
Regards
Martin
ps. We mailed together about the request for unions last autumn, I think it was.

Martin
Sorry, I must have missed the request for UNIONs. I'm pretty busy just now,
But I'll see what I can do to get it into an upcoming release.
The timeout problem is puzzling. Zero is the default value, which should
prevent any timeout being activated. ScriptTool (formerly "sample") sets a
timeout of 300 secs, but from what you were saying it doesn;t sound like you
were using ScriptTool.
When you say that the results were different, do you mean that you actually
got different data back, or that an exception gets thrown?
