The beta 2 test release of Enhydra 2.3 in now available for download
from the Enhydra download pages.  Detailed information about what's
new in 2.3 is in the release notes, and you will find an overview at:

New in Beta 2:

Enhydra 2.3 now includes an XML parsing tool based on Xerces.
Xerces (named after the Xerces Blue butterfly) provides world-class
XML parsing and generation. It is a fully-validating parser are that
implements the W3C XML and DOM (Level 1 and 2) standards, as well
as the defacto SAX (version 2) standard. Initial support for the XML
Schema (draft W3C standard) is also provided.

DODS DOA format now replaced with an XML format. Seamless
translation of existing format to new format.
