RE: InstantDB: Using IDB from other than Java


While Microsoft has an JDBC-ODBC bridge to Access databases from Java applications, I'm not familiar with companies that offer a generic ODBC-JDBC bridge.  You might look at Merant's offerings, however, as they used to be [and I presume still are] the ODBC gods of the world.

I'm interested in using IDB and primarily I'll be using Java but I will need to access the data at times from other languages/reporting packages.  Is this possible?  From what I've read, it looks like jdbc is the only api.
