RE: InstantDB: Réf. : InstantDB: 1000 + rows

Thanks Christian,

The java.exe is well within controlas we do regular garbage
collection. Probably I need to start my jvm with higher memory
idb may be caching objects in memory and keeping them there ?

Hello,

I've been using Enhydra and InstantDB with a database that inserts 4000
records in two tables without any problem on a Windows NT4, 128 Mb RAM and
jdk1.2.2.
The JVM is started by JBuilder when I'm in development phase and by
enhydra's script when running in production.

Is your config ok ? How big is your java.exe or javaw.exe in memory after 4
days ?

Regards,

Hi,

I am using IstantDB to store records of activities.
I have noticed that it worked fine for 4 days but on
the fifth it just stopped inserting rows into the table.
At this time there were around 1400 rows already inserted. It
started working after I stopped and restarted it. I am
running on JDK1.2.2 under NT4.

Has anyone come across such a problem. Are there
any memory constarints ? Should I start the JVM with
higher memory ?

Thx

shivraj
