InstantDB: Re: InstantDb paths

Christopher

You're quite right. The documentation doesn't make this clear. I'll see that
this gets fixed.

Regards

Pete

Subject: InstantDb paths

The documentation says that if "relativeToProperties" is non zero then paths
are relative to properties file.

I believe this does not apply to the "traceFile" setting in the "Logging and
debugging properties" section.

To be fair, the "traceFile" is set in a different section to the "Basic
Properties" section so it could be reasonably inferred that
"relativeToProperties" doesn't apply to "traceFile". However, then there are
characters like me who take things rather literally, especially when first
coming to grips with a new tool.

Perhaps the documentation could be amended to make it clear that
"relativeToProperties" does not apply to "traceFile", or alternatively, ...

Or maybe I just got it all wrong.

Regards

Christopher Biltoft
