By next release, do you mean the new beta version that was announced 
on the list a while ago (v3.20b, I think) or the next full release?

Also, I would like to use InstantDB as the database in a small Java app 
that I would like to be able to distribute over the web.  In relation to this, 
am I allowed to distribute idb.jar along with my app?  What about 
licensing etc?
