AW: InstantDB: Row Size limit?


Hi Peter,
thanks for the reply. This is intersting to know, I always thought it was variable length (that's what the docs say...).
I'd like to use the TEXT type, but I'm using InstantDB with Enhydra DODS and DODS doesn't seem to support long datatypes.
I still don't understand why the table can't be created in the first place, but I guess hacking the DODS generated code to retrieve
TEXT values would be the better choice in the long run anyway.
