InstantDB: What's involved in getting prepared statement meta data working

To InstantDB maintainers,

First, thanks for very nice free database.
Documentation is wonderful. Website is nicely
organized too. Although white foreground for text on
left frame is hard to read for me and others. This is
same problem in all of enhydra's pages.

What's involved in supporting meta data from prepared
statements?

I haven't seen any clamour for this in mailing list
but it is very useful for supporting functionality in
a general purpose sql application when the sql could
be anything.

I'll experiment with this, but ask anyway. How will
InstantDB behave if setObject(xx, null)? Does it set
to null, or do I need setNull(xx, type).

Best regards, george
