Hi all,
We've been taking advantage of Flash 5's new embedded XML
parser (and Flash ActionScript's near 100% conformance to
JavaScript) to drive Flash presentations with Enhydra and Enhydra XMLC.

We are looking for general discussion, feedback, recommendations
on Flash 5 support within the Enhydra.org project.  The starting place
for this discussion (and the link to join designers@lutris.com) is at:

To spur this discussion, we've done three things:  1) we've created
designers@enhydra.org, a new mailing list focused on designer-related
issues and topics.  After all, Enhydra XMLC was designed to make
developer's _and_ designer's lives easier.
2) We've also created "On the Edge," a new Community area on
Enhydra.org for new topics and technologies that could eventual
migrate to Enhydra project status.  The Flash 5 topic inaugurates this
page.  Finally, 3) we've supplied two demo applications.  Airsent.com,
a fictitious bike messenger service, demo'ing the integration of HTML
for customers and dispatchers and WML/CHTML/J2ME and, now
Flash, for the bike messenger.  The Text Demo is the demo that comes
along with the Flash and Enhydra source files to show the simple XML
handshake between client and server.

We're looking forward to a hardy discussion.  If you're new to Flash 5,
take heed.  It's the new technology darling that's showing a lot of
promise in both the browser and mobile space.
